Yoko was born in Shizuoka, Japan. She received an A.A. in Business and later a B.F.A in graphic design. Her work experience includes sales, marketing and design. In 2004, Yoko came to the United States with one suitcase to follow her childhood dream of becoming an artist, attending Savannah College of Art and Design to achieve her M.A. in Painting 2007.
